SANTA CRUZ — The Santa Cruz Warriors defeated the Tulsa 66ers 92-80 Sunday night in a game where all 10 players on the Warriors’ active roster scored.
The Warriors were led by Stefhon Hannah, who scored a game-high 25 points and connected on 6-of-12 from behind the arc. Chris Johnson added 18 points and pulled down six rebounds, while Cameron Jones chipped in with 11.
The 66ers were paced by Dominique Sutton, who recorded the only double-double of the night with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Andy Rautins also finished with 16 points, and Hollis Thompson added 12.
Santa Cruz trailed by as much as 12 in the second quarter, but the Warriors outscored Tulsa 51-31 in the second half. The Warriors used an 8-0 run midway through the fourth quarter to put the game away.
The Warriors limited the 66ers to 36.1 percent shooting from the field, while Santa Cruz shot 45.3 percent. The 66ers held the slight edge on the rebounding battle (36-33), but the Warriors had the advantage on points in the paint (32-30).
The Santa Cruz Warriors will hit the road to play the Sioux Falls Skyforce at 5 p.m. PST on Tuesday. After a game against the Iowa Energy on Wednesday, the Warriors return to the Kaiser Permanente Arena to tip-off against the Los Angeles D-Fenders on Friday.
