This week, the best TV show was Have I Got News For You. The long-running comedy panel show continued to be as sharp and funny as ever, with Paul Merton and Ian Hislop taking on the week’s news with their usual wit and charisma.

The best movie of the week was “Get Out”!

This was a truly suspenseful and well-made film, and it was great to see a social commentary interwoven throughout the story. The acting was top-notch, and the ending was both surprising and satisfying. If you’re looking for a great movie to watch this weekend, “Get Out” is definitely the one to see.

The Worst

There’s been a lot of bad news this week, so let’s get straight into it. First up, we have the US government shutdown. This is now the longest shutdown in history, and there’s no end in sight. Hundreds of thousands of government workers are either working without pay or are on furlough, and the effects are starting to be felt across the country.

The worst thing that happened this week was the release of the Department of Justice Inspector General’s report on the 2016 election. The report found that the FBI had failed to investigate properly the Clinton Foundation and that Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server had been “extremely careless.”

There’s a lot of bad TV out there, but we’ve managed to narrow it down to the very worst show of the week. It was a close race, but the winner (or loser, depending on how you look at it) is…

This show was an absolute train wreck from start to finish. The humor was cringe-worthy, the hosts were visibly uncomfortable, and the guests were just phoning it in. We can’t imagine why anyone would want to watch this show, let alone make it.

The worst movie of the week was…

It was inevitable that a remake of Stephen King’s It would end up on this list. The original miniseries is a classic, and while the new movie is technically well-made, it doesn’t hold a candle to the original. It’s also way too long, and the CGI scares are ineffective.
