What is the good news?
The good news is that Jesus came to save us from our sin. He died on the cross and rose again, and now he offers us forgiveness and eternal life. All we have to do is repent of our sin and believe in him. If we do, we will be saved.
Who is telling the good news?
The Bible says that Jesus is the good news. (Matthew 1:21; John 14:6) He is the Savior who takes away our sin. (Acts 13:38,39; Romans 3:23,24; 6:23) When we trust in Jesus, we have eternal life. (John 3:16)
But who is telling people about this good news? The Bible says that it is our responsibility to tell others about Jesus. (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19,20; Romans 10:14,15) We can do this by telling them about what Jesus has done for us and by living lives that show others what He can do for them too.
If you have not yet heard the good news about Jesus or if you are not sure if you are ready to accept Him as your Savior, please contact us. We would be happy to talk with you more about this Good News!
How can you share the good news?
There are many ways to share the good news with others. You can invite them to church, hand out gospel tracts, or even just have a conversation with them about your faith. Whatever method you choose, make sure that you are clear, articulate, and friendly. It is also important to remember that not everyone will be interested in hearing what you have to say. Be respectful of other people’s beliefs and do not force the issue.
