Will Cain is joining Fox News Channel as a contributor, the network announced on Wednesday.
Cain, who worked as a contributor for CNN, will offer political analysis across FNC and FOX Business Network’s (FBN) daytime and primetime programming. He will make his first appearance on “Fox & Friends First” tomorrow, January 2nd at 5AM/ET.

Worked as a co-host for ESPN’s First Take
Will Cain is a former co-host of ESPN’s First Take. He also worked as a contributor for The Blaze, Glenn Beck’s television network. Cain has also appeared on Fox News, Fox Business, and CNBC.

Will Cain, who has been a commentator on various Fox News programs, will now have his own show as part of the Fox News daytime lineup. The new show, titled “The Will Cain Show,” will air weekdays at 3 p.m. ET.
Cain, who joined Fox News in 2019, is a former ESPN host and contributor. He has also worked as a columnist for The New York Times and The Blaze.

Cain’s new role at Fox News Channel will be hosting his own show called The Will Cain Show, the network announced on Tuesday.
Cain, a former contributor to The Blaze and a current ESPN analyst, will join the network in October. His show will air weekdays at 5 p.m. ET.

What This Means for Fox News
Fox News Channel has hired Will Cain to be a co-host of its morning show, Fox & Friends First. Cain is a former contributor to The Blaze and Glenn Beck’s The BlazeTV. He has also worked as a columnist for The Washington Post and The New York Times.
Fox News continues to add diverse voices to their lineup
Cain, who is black, will join Fox News as a contributor, the network announced on Monday. He is a former co-host of “The View” and a host of NPR’s “Tell Me More.” His addition to Fox News comes as the network has been working to add more diverse voices to its lineup.
In recent months, Fox News has hired former Democratic strategist Donna Brazile, consultant extrapreneur Jehmu Greene and commentator Tammy Bruce, who is also gay. The network has also given airtime to former Gov. Jennifer Granholm (D-Mich.) and Van Jones, another CNN contributor.
And in April, the network announced that it had hired syndicated radio host Tom Joyner as a contributor.
Cain will bring a unique perspective to the network
Cain, who has been a contributor on Fox News since 2016, will take on a more prominent role at the network. He will serve as a co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend and as a contributor across the network’s daytime and primetime programming.
Cain’s hire is part of Fox News’ ongoing effort to bring in new voices and perspectives. The network has been on a hiring spree in recent months, bringing on contributors like Donna Brazile, Juan Williams, and Geraldo Rivera.
